On Thursday, October 18th, 2012, from 6:00 to 7:30PM, the Manchester School District’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) will join over 2,500 other programs, and a projected one million people, nationwide, by hosting their annual “Lights on Afterschool!” celebration. The event, to be held at Gossler Park Elementary School located at 99 Sullivan Street, is free and open to the public.
Come participate in interactive, afterschool activities that are engaging for all ages. Express yourself through a variety of art projects, take a picture at the photo booth that you can bring home, sport a new look by getting your face painted, learn about some of our program offerings, and chat with the staff that work with the 21st CCLC. Refreshments will be provided.
Nearly one out of every four children in New Hampshire goes home alone after school. Join us in raising awareness for Manchester’s 21st CCLC afterschool program as it inspires students to reach their full potential academically, socially, and personally through the support of the program, families and the community.
