New Program Fees
September 1, 2021 - The 21st Century Program has updated and simplified program fees and registration process. Program fees are established on a sliding scale based on student Free & Reduced Lunch Status (Free, Reduced, and Full Pay).
Full Pay Reduced Lunch Free Lunch
Multiple family member discount: 2nd and 3rd child is ½ off.
Students who are registered in the 21st Century Program will receive an invoice from their Site Coordinator with fees owed, as calculated based on that information. Site Coordinators will have access to the Free & Reduced Lunch data collected by the District Food Services Program. In the event that a parent/guardian is unable to pay a program fee, the Site Coordinator will contact that parent/guardian and complete a Program Fee Modification Form and submit it to the Program Director. The District Homeless Liaison may also submit requests on behalf of parents/guardians. Students will not be denied access to the 21st Century Program due to inability to pay program fees.
Limited In-Person 21st Century Begins!
February 18, 2021 - The 21st Century Program is excited to begin a limited in person pilot program at Henry Wilson and McDonough Elementary Schools. We are starting this program with 4th grade and English Learners at Wilson and 3rd and 4th grade students at McDonough. We will have an enrollment limit of ten students per cohort to maintain a safe and fun learning environment. Students will be separated by school day groups and maintain social distancing and mask wearing throughout the program. As pandemic conditions continue to evolve the district and program will look at potential expansion of the program to additional grades. Programming will be paused if the school suspends in person instruction. Students will be able to participate in our remote program during those times. If your child is in an eligible grade, registration information will be sent by your child's teacher via email.
For those students who are currently learning from home, we are still accepting registrations for our remote program which operates Monday through Friday, 2:45pm to 5:15pm. Our remote program offers small group academic interventions, as well as fun activities that reinforce their school day learning. If you are interested in your child joining our remote program, please fill out this registration link.
Session 2 Open Enrollment
November 18, 2020 - Manchester's 21st Century Program has started open enrollment for Session 2 (November 30, 2020-January 29, 2021). We will be offering more remote activities and academic support for students, as well as new opportunities from our partners Girls at Work and the Manchester Community Music School and Unchartered Tutoring.
Our program continues to operate remotely, however we are exploring options for take home kits for families and will begin to offer limited in person programming as soon as possible. Information about this will be shared out as soon as it is available.
